In a matter of months, international students in Canada will no longer be required to work beyond twenty hours per week.
The last fall, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Sean Fraser announced that he would be temporarily waiving the 20-hours-per-week maximum limit for eligible college students while classes are still in session. This began last November and will end on December 31, 2023.
This affected full-time students with the authority to work in Canada with a valid study permit.

With international students working only for twenty hours per week in 2024, some pupils might suffer from that modification.
Statistically, a full-time undergraduate international student pays USD 38,081 in Canada in 2023/24. However, Canadian students will pay seven thousand and seventy-six dollars.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada are evaluating this temporary measure with a view to determining how much impact the policy made, especially as far as these eligible international students are concerned.
