Online ticket sales for Taylor Swift’s 2024 Vancouver concert are set to begin on Thursday morning, meaning that fans may now finally get their tickets.
However, the opportunity to buy up to four tickets for the performances at BC Place on December 6, 7, and 8 of next year will only be available to the fortunate fans who won a lottery and received presale codes on Wednesday.
Sales for the three dates will begin at varying times on Thursday, according to Ticketmaster’s website: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Pacific time. However, entrance to the events will only be possible with a code and link that winners of the presale lottery will get.
In an attempt to “manifest” their triumph in the presale code lottery, several Swifties lit candles and chanted mantras to their idol, a move that has gone viral among followers on social media.
Teenagers Candace and Chloe Harding of Langley, British Columbia, tried similar strategies without success. According to their mother Shae Harding, they were disappointed to learn they had been placed back on the waitlist after failing to get tickets for performances in Toronto and Seattle.
However, Ticketmaster states that seats for the shows will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis, so even those who obtain the much sought-after presale passes are not assured a spot.
